STERILE DEBRIDEMENT & IRRIGATION: Gentle cleansing of the wound bed with sterile normal saline or antiseptic wound solutions to clear slough, loose necrotic tissue, and bioburden without traumatizing healthy granulation.

ADVANCED THERAPEUTIC DRESSING APPLICATION: Selection and application of physician-recommended dressings such as hydrocolloids, alginates, silver-impregnated foams, collagen sheets, or negative-pressure dressings tailored to wound exudate levels.

SURGICAL SUTURE & STAPLE REMOVAL: Safe, sterile removal of skin clips, non-absorbable sutures, or retention sutures following post-operative recovery timelines as prescribed by the surgical team.

INFECTION SURVEILLANCE & CAREGIVER TRAINING: Early detection of infection signs (cellulitis, foul odor, purulent discharge, heat), education on offloading pressure zones, and hygiene protocols for family attendants.
