• S/C (Subcutaneous) Injection: A short, thin needle is used to inject a substance into the fatty tissue directly beneath the skin. It is frequently used for drugs like insulin or several hormonal treatments that require gradual, constant absorption. 

• IM Injections: IM (Intramuscular) Injection: A somewhat longer needle is used to provide an intramuscular injection deeply into a muscle. It is applied to drugs including antibiotics, vaccinations, and vitamin supplements that require quicker absorption.  

• Vaccinations: Vaccines are administered by injection to boost immunity and guard against illnesses. Depending on the type, vaccinations can be given intramuscularly, subcutaneously, or even intradermally. Routine immunizations (e.g., tetanus, hepatitis, flu, pneumonia), travel vaccines (e.g., yellow fever, typhoid), and adult booster doses are a few examples of vaccinations.
