PRESCRIPTION AUDITING & DRUG RECONSTITUTION: Verification of doctor's prescription according to the six rights of medication safety, followed by sterile reconstitution of prescribed medications (antibiotics, electrolytes, or vitamins) into IV fluids.

CONTROLLED GRAVITY/MICRO-DRIP ADMINISTRATION: Priming of IV tubing, connection to the pre-existing cannula via aseptic non-touch technique (ANTT), and precise calibration of drip flow rates based on prescribed durations.

CONTINUOUS REACTION & VITAL SURVEILLANCE: Periodic monitoring of vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, temperature) and observation for potential hypersensitivity or fluid overload.

LINE FLUSH & ASEPTIC CAPPING: Post-infusion normal saline flush to clear residual medication from the catheter lumen, followed by sterile closure with an injection cap or extension bung, and safe disposal of biomedical waste.
